He was the first person to sell Pesticides at Nathenje trading centre, hardly selling a single bottle a day. Despite hardship Mr Kumbeni never gave up on the journey he started. In 2011 I opened a new chapter as Ecoret Micro credit Agency then called KAWJO Foundation came in and offered me some financial support. My first loan from Ecoret increased my capital which generated more profits that helped me pay back the loan in time. With the loan services from Ecoret, in 2014, I managed to move from a small shop and opened a well-established big shop with a raised capital of MK2,000, 000.00 . My business grew and opened some branches in Chiphaka Trading Centre, T/A Chadza, Bisai Trading Centre, T/A Kalumbu, Chamadenga trading Centre in Nkhoma, Kabwazi Trading Centre in Dedza. Due to this development I own a car, plots, houses, shops and a farm. I have some scalable developments including livestocks production. As I am talking my business capital estimate is 8 to 9 million kwacha. I still have bigger vision which needs Ecoret to hold my hand to achieve my desired goals” he says.
